What are the payment terms when purchasing from Fast Aviation Data?
    • How do I purchase the program? via what form of payment?
      You can purchase the software through:

    • How long do I have to wait to receive the software after the payment?
      After receiving and confirming your payment, Fast Aviation Data will immediately send you an e-mail with the software download link, the serial key number and an attached invoice for your purchase. You can click on the download link we sent you via email to start downloading your software.
    • Are there any fees for updates?
      Our software is built to allow the user to update existing information or add new information on the program. However you will receive automatic updates for third party plugins without any charges. If you encounter any errors or lose information on the software, you can contact support@fastaviationdata.com and our tech department will help you resolve the problem and send you any lost information free of charge.
Downloading and Installing the Software?
    • Are there any extra or yearly fees?
      No, once you have purchased the software there will be no recurring fees. You pay once only, and you get free life term tech support.
    • How long will it take to download and install the software?
      Once you have purchased and received the download link through your email, it will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes or more to completely install the software, always depending on the download speed of your internet connection.
    • Do I need internet connection to use the software?
      Internet Connection is required only for product activation. Once the product is activated, Internet Connection is not required to run the software.

Installation Information
  • Can I install the program on more than one computer?
    1. No, it is for one user only and can only be installed on one computer

  • What if I uninstall the software or reformat my computer?
    If you accidentally delete or you are having some problems with the software, please contact our technical support team at support@fastaviationdata.com and they will assist you.
  • I lost my activation key, what will I do?
    The serial key number is sent to you via email, we suggest you safeguard it, however, if you deleted your activation key please send an email to support@fastaviationdata.com with your name, invoice number and a short description of your problem and one of our technical support team will be in contact with you within 24 hours.
  • What is .Net Framework and do I really need it?
    The majority of all computers built after 1994 have the .Net Framework which runs primarily on Microsoft Windows and is required to run any software. If you happen not to have .Net Framework installed on your computer, the Aircraft Information System installation application has a built in .Net Framework installer that will guide you through the process.
  • Do I need internet connection to check Notams, Weather and Airport runways images on the Software?

    You will need to be connected to the internet for the Notams, weather and google map to function.

  • Do you have the specification for all the 3,500 aircraft you have in the aircraft information system?
    Due to the rarity of some of the aircraft and the lack of information via main third party sources, it is nearly impossible; however, we have covered all the aircraft images and approximately 80 to 90% of the aircraft general description.
  • Can I save any aircraft information from the aircraft information system on my Desktop?
    Yes, there is a Preview, Save, and Print feature that will allow you to save and print all the aircraft specifications.
  • Can I save the photos from the information system on my Desktop?
    Photos are only there for displaying purposes and cannot be saved, however you can click on the Photo Information button on the software, and it will take you to the source of the photo and status of license. The majority of the photos are public domain, which can be used for any purposes, the other photos are shared via creative commons and may have some restrictions and it is therefore your responsibility to read the creative commons license status before downloading any photos in order not to infringe the owners’ requirements.
  • Can I add my own collection of aircraft in the aircraft information system?
    Yes you can, there is a feature in the aircraft Information system that will allow you to add your own images and information into the software in order to be able to build your own private collection of aircraft.
  • How can I add, edit and delete an aircraft in the aircraft information system?
    You can add an aircraft by clicking on the “Add Aircraft” button if you wish to add a new aircraft. If you want to change any information or photo of a specific aircraft you can click on the “Change A/C info” button where you can change any information through the Edit Information form. And if you wish to delete an existing aircraft, you can click on the “Delete Aircraft” button in order to remove the aircraft information from the software. You can click on the “Restore Aircraft” button if you wish to recover the deleted aircraft information.
  • How many aircraft can I add in the aircraft information system?
    There are no limits as to how many you can add.
  • How do I find the aircrafts that I have added in the aircraft information system?
    The aircraft you have added will be on the main search box on the top of the list with an asterisk (*) in front of the aircraft name.
